After serving in the U.S. Navy in 1946, entrepreneur, Peter J. Vicari founded Peter J. Vicari General Contractor, Inc., in Harvey, Louisiana.  Since, the Pete Vicari family has been serving the commercial construction industry.

After completing his education, son Peter G. Vicari joined his father full time in the construction business.  Vicari, following in his father’s footsteps, has spent his entire professional career in the construction and real estate development business. Benefiting from traditional values, Vicari started in the family company at the entry level and worked his way up, year-by-year, learning every aspect of commercial construction. This path proved valuable as he moved from job superintendent to project manager and president of the company. Vicari has been able to learn all phases of the construction business and established his own company in 1981 now known as Pete Vicari General Contractor, LLC.  Vicari serves as the President of the company and in keeping with the Vicari tradition strives to give his clients the best quality workmanship possible. 

 

In 2002, Pete’s son, Peter J. Vicari, joined his father full time in the construction business.  PJ, following in his grandfather and father’s footsteps, has spent his entire professional career in the construction business. Benefitting from traditional values, PJ started in the family company at the entry level and worked his way up, year-by-year, learning every aspect of commercial construction. This path proved valuable as he moved from a Field Laborer/Equipment Operator to Sr. Estimator/Project Manager.  Vicari has been able to learn all phases of the construction business.
